Accessibility statement.
This English version is provided for convenience. The Hebrew version is the binding original.
Short version: we are committed to a site everyone can use — including people with disabilities. It is built to WCAG 2.1 level AA. Hit a problem? Our accessibility coordinator, Almog, is reachable by email and phone — and we will fix it.
Our commitment to accessibility
AL Platforms treats equal service to every visitor, including people with disabilities, as a top priority. We work to keep al-platforms.com accessible in line with:
- The Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to a Service), 5773-2013.
- Israeli Standard IS 5568 — "Web content accessibility guidelines".
- The WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) of the W3C, at level AA.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We keep testing, fixing and improving.
Accessibility features already in place
- Keyboard navigation — the site can be operated with a keyboard alone (Tab / Shift+Tab / Enter), including a "Skip to main content" link on the content pages.
- Alternative text (alt) — meaningful images carry a text description for screen readers.
- Color contrast — the palette was chosen so that body text meets level AA contrast ratios.
- Declared language and direction — every page states its own language and reading direction. This English page is
lang="en"anddir="ltr"; the Hebrew site islang="he"anddir="rtl", right-to-left throughout, with runs of foreign text marked in the correct direction on both. - Semantic structure — an ordered heading hierarchy, marked landmark regions (
nav, main, footer) andaria-labelon the navigations. - Accessible forms — every field on the contact form has a label, error messages are shown in plain, clear wording, and submission status is announced to screen readers (
role="status"). - Responsive display — the site adapts to any screen size and supports browser text zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- Reduced flashing — nothing on the site flashes at a dangerous rate; animations are decorative and never block content.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, parts of the site may still not be fully accessible:
- Decorative animations — some pages run background animations (stars, graphic "noise", a typing effect). They carry no information, but not every page yet offers a stop control and full support for
prefers-reduced-motion. - Embedded previews — the live preview windows of the example sites (iframe) on the work page are a visual display only and are not fully exposed to a screen reader. A text description appears beside them.
- Third-party content — customer sites linked from here are maintained separately, and their level of accessibility may differ.
We are working to close these gaps in the coming updates.
